What’s Up, India? Intro

Let me start by saying that I am a complete newbie to internet based social media. Infact, I have neither written a single blog post nor have I ever attempted to podcast prior to What’s Up India (WUI). I also have no experience in being an actor/news reader/VJ or any prior video presentation experience.
So let’s move on to the theme of my vidcast. it’s pretty simple and answers the question – What’s Up, India? I plan to release a weekly 4-5 mins video and hope that I get better with each episode.

Hi Prachiti,
I stumbled on your site roaming on the WWWeb late night. I have watched 3 vidcasts so far and I a particularly liked the illuminating piece on the annual Ganesh festivities. Your delivery is lively and refreshing to see something original and thoughtful.
I think you should focus more on topics that don’t get much attention in the mainstream media. You as a citizen journalist are the right person to cover and raise awareness of slightly obscure but nevertheless important areas such as showcasing creative solutions to regular social problems such as education, health and yes traffic too.
Keep up your effort and thanks for doing it.
